Girls Bible study tonight

The JH girls Bible study is at 7:00 p.m. tonight in the home of Joella Whitley. BYOB (bring your own Bible).

Happening today

There will be Bible classes for all ages at 9:00 a.m. This mark’s the conclusion of this quarter’s study.

We’ll gather to worship our Lord together at 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Tommie Herring, one of our shepherds, will preach during our 10:00 a.m. assembly. The title of his sermon is The Church’s Music. David Smith will preach from Galatians during our 5:00 p.m. assembly. The title of his sermon is What Counts.

Some of our youth group members and adults will return from SoulLink early this afternoon.

Most of our 24/7 groups will meet today. The locations and times for this Sunday’s meetings follow:

   •  Devoted Crusaders – Annex; 6:00 p.m.
   •  God Squad – at John Belk’s house; 6:15 p.m.
   •  New Creation – not meeting today
   •  Lamplighters – at Ike Paulk’s house; 6:15 p.m.
   •  Seekers – at Kim Martin’s house; 6:15 p.m.

Headed to Soul Link

Meet at MoSt ready to leave MoSt’s parking lot at 5:00 p.m. today. Bring money for three meals and comfortable clothes for Saturday, your Bibles, and sleeping bags and pillows (or something of that  nature), towels and whatever toiletries are needed for two nights. Plan to return to MoSt roughly “noonish” this Sunday.

Mom2Mom is today

Today is the day for Mom2Mom meeting. Where? Dianna Marshall’s home. When? Get there between 11:45 a.m. and noon. What? Bring a brown bag lunch. Who? All young mothers who can attend.

(at Crespo-Jirrel’s Funeral Home on Garth Rd.)

5:15-6:30 p.m. – meal in our Annex
(tonight’s menu: Italian wedding pasta, green salad, green beans, “the pink stuff,” misc. desserts & drinks)

7:00-7:45 p.m. – Bible classes for all ages

Warren baby shower

There will be a brunch baby shower for April Warren, daughter-in-law of Zeb & Debbie Warren, from 10:30 a.m. until noon on Sat., Mar. 3 in the home of Ed & Shirley Wachtel ( 2306 Eaves). Selections are available at Babies ‘R Us and Target.

Office closed today

The church office is closed today in observance of President’s Day. The office will re-open tomorrow morning.
